He and I sang a song as part of the entertainment for the Miss Russet pageant - a romantic song from Zorro, "I Want to Spend My Lifetime Loving You." At the end we kissed. Some of the teachers from the high school were there watching, a funny group of ladies. After we kissed and the lights went out, one of them (the cheerleader advisor) whispered to the others, "Did she just kiss a student?" They had to bite their lips while telling her that we were married.
