Like, read this.

Guys - I just wanted to nag at you all for a minute. Me and Chris are, like, the only ones who, like, posted something in the past, like, few weeks. And that is, like, boring. I mean, Chris's posts aren't boring, but, like, this is a FAMILY blog, not, like, a Chris and Camille blog. So, like, get on the ball y'all.

Oh, and have, like, a totally ripping new year!

Like, I love you guys.

Christmas Cookie Party on 12/22

We had a fun time decorating Christmas cookies together. (This was pre-Christmas, but I've had some blogger vs. my computer technical difficulties for the past week - but it's all good now.) I wanted to add some photos of our works of art.
This is Cindy's "retro" tree and Nate's reindeer.

Sid the Sloth was home for Christmas...
Russ invited Spongebob's cousin to help build a snowman...

Some visitors from another dimension....

That arrive in Nate's space shuttle.

Cindy and LeAnn and I had a special cookie decorating contest... with our eyes closed. LeAnn thought she'd add some candy sprinkles, but since her eyes were closed, she didn't notice that the container didn't have a sprinkle-cover over the top of the jar when she dumped the sprinkles on her cookie... She's such an over achiever.

More photos and video will be posted later! LOVE TO YOU ALL! Camille

Our Annual Gingerbread House Building

We had our annual gingerbread building festivities for FHE Monday night. We started doing this when Dale was in chef school. We've simplified a lot and the houses aren't quite as fancy as the ones the future chefs built with stained glass windows etc., but we still have a lot of fun. We always invite someone over to share the fun with. This year it turned into a boys vs. girls house building contest.

The boys got theirs together first, but as you can see, it collapsed and had to be rebuilt. They both ended up looking very similar with lots of candy.

This is the girls' house.

Be on the lookout for "Runaway Elves"!

Price Grandkids,

Have you seen these elves? Be aware, they are armed and dangerous....doing good deeds all over Deutschland.

The Crazy Elf Dancer

Keep the streets free of these menaces!

Uncle Dale

Kitty's first haircut

She looks like a real schnauzer now - isn't she cute... if a little demonic?

BEFORE...
and AFTER...

Happy week before Christmas!

We're getting older.

I was thinking today how old we're alll getting............some of us older than others.
Chris, do you realize you're probably going to be a grandmother within the next 5 years. That means the rest of us will be great aunts and uncles......not that we aren't great already.
I was just sitting here pondering about life and thought I'd share that with everybody.
Have a great day.
P.S. Where are those shots of the kids in action that I asked for?

Here's Our Tree with a little Christmas Music Too

Here's our tree. One with the flash so you can see the ornaments, and one without the flash so you can see the lights. My friend gave me the lighted gift this year. She took a glass brick, drilled a hole in the side and stuffed a string of lights in it, then tied a bow on it. The pictures don't show how neat it really looks.

And for a little music, here's some video of Clark's high school jazz band. Clark is on the front, far right (Bari Sax). Some of the video is a little crazy, but the sound is good.

The quest for Dad's Christmas present

Dad, Don't read this until after you get your box.

I couldn't decide what to send to Dad for Christmas. Our chocolate would be nasty compared to chocolate from Germany. I finally decided to get him some Red Hots. A seemingly simple purchase. No, not even close. I guess there is a tea recipe that uses Red Hots that a lot of people make at Christmas time to give to friends. I went to 3 stores and gave up. I called Zach, he was with Stacy not doing too much, and asked him if he was interested in a quest. He said he was up for the quest. He asked if I had been to the mall. Why would I go there for Red Hots? About an hour later I got a text message saying that he had succeeded and it only cost $13. Yep, he found them at the mall. Nothing's too good for my Dad.

Funny for Zack

These are from a book called "Disorder in the Court." These are things
people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published
by court reporters - who had the torment of staying calm while these
exchanges were actually taking place.

Another trip to Wal-Mart redeemed!

This story isn't funny, sorry Zach, but it's great.

Yesterday I was lamenting having to go to the shopper infested dwelling of Wal-Mart again. It's kind of a love/hate relationtionship. You love the prices but don't know if you can stomach another visit. But I was glad for the opportunity when I left yesterday. Here's the story: I was just leaving the one hour photo desk when I looked up and came face to face with Elder and Sister Eyring. He said "Hello," as I stared on wondering if that were really them. I tried to be inconspicuous as I glanced their way to make sure it was them and then mustered the courage to say hello in return. They were looking at digital camers with a clerk. I tapped Sister Eyring on the arm and asked if they were in fact the Eyrings. She said yes and I told her I just wanted to say hello as one of the 12 million people who knew them. She asked where I was from. When she learned that I was originally from Idaho we talked about Rexburg where they had served at Ricks College. I asked if they knew any Risenmays and they knew Uncle Jay well. Sister Erying then introduced me to Elder Eyring as Jay Risenmay's niece. He said that Uncle Jay was one of his favorite people. I said that he was one of mine too. They said thanks for stopping to say hello and I went on my way. It overwhelmed me and I just wandered for a few minutes fighting the tears that came automatically. They still come every time I think about it. They were very warm and inviting just like the Savior would have been. Still they were fast moving and back to business out of necessity. Can you imagine being an Apostle and walking into a store in American Fork, Utah.

I am so glad you are all my family.

Love, Cathy

Yahoo

I just had to post a picture, cause its fun. Its is a shot at the visitor we have had at work a weasel.

Well Cindy Lou, we would say that were sorry that you have to leave Nevada...
IF WE WERE :-) but we are really not sorry to see you get closer to Idaho!

I just thought to let you all know that the best/easist way we have found to post videos is at

http://video.google.com/videouploadform?utm_campaign=gv-ww-hdr&utm_source=EM&utm_medium=link

then just provide the link in our blog. We tried a service that lets you put the video right in the blog but it had some problems, like sound but no picture or only the first frame....

We are new Parents!!!! No, were not having another baby, that would take a miracle indeed!!But, we do have a new puppy and I was wondering if yall (Brian and Kathy, Dale and Chris all you veteran dog owners) have hints for how to puppy-proof your Christmas tree and presents, or do we have to wait till Chrismas eve to put them out. Kitty (thats our dog HEE,Hee) has already chewed up a package that arrived by mail.

Our lives are so busy right now, with Meg in basketball and piano, Henry in Basketball, scouts, mutual, Sam in scouts, and Janie in Dance, Camille has truly turned into the proverbial taxi. Kudos to you MOMs and all you do! I have to try and remember that it is a blessing to be able to be involved in so many things.
G'DAY and Godbless!

We're Moving North

Hello Dear Family!
Nate and I are moving after Christmas to northern Utah, maybe Layton, to go to school at Weber. He wants to get an MBA and school starts January 8th. He's never lived in snow before so this should be interesting. I may even have a hard time adjusting after living down in the heat for 3 years. Kaitlyn has turned into quite the explorer now that she walks everywhere. It's a full time job picking up after her.
Can anyone please explain to me how to post video clips on here. We have a couple of really fun ones of Kaitlyn walking and laughing that I'd love to share.
Hope your holidays are merry and bright!!
Love, Cindy

More snow than we've seen in 6 years

We were out of school for two days. We got ice on Wednesday night so they canceled school and then it snowed all day Thursday. We ended up with about 7 inches. It was 4.5 offically at the airport, but more in the north part of town where we are. It sure made it feel a lot more like Christmas time. We put up our tree on Thursday and hung the lights outside on Saturday.

Clark went to his first formal dance at school. He took Jessica. You can email him for details: saxdude12@hotmail.com

You know you're in Oklahoma when they have a TV and chairs set up at a formal dance for the Big 12 Championship game and what a game it was. Go Sooners!!
