Corn maze / hay ride / pumpkin patch

We went to a corn maze / pumpkin patch / hay ride last week. There were little animals to pet, swings, slides, rain, mud, the works. We had a blast and we each got a pumpkin to bring home :) I'd never really experienced an autumn before moving back here, I love em!

Culinary Creations

I love food, and Kathy likes it too.
We're just about to start the holidays, when we spend time with family and friends, the food is abundant, and we have to dig in the closet for those clothes we meant to get rid of, but didn't because deep down inside we knew we would probably need them again.

Nothing Like a pan of rolls, fresh out of the oven. (Grandma Risenmay's recipe)

Kathy's first attempt at an omelet.
Not to shabby................and it tasted pretty dang good too.

Hot cornsticks, just about ready to come out of the oven.

Hello from Brian & Kathy

Hello to everyone and good to see us back on the blogger! Well, where did the summer go? I guess the "newest" news that we have is Brian's promotion at work. We have been enjoying his new work schedule - especially the Friday night high school football games! My alma mater is 5-1 this year! We don't, however, have alot to say about the Vols! Maybe next year - we still enjoy watching the BYU and Oklahoma games. We were able to get away in August to a cabin in the Smokey Mountains. Very peaceful! Bailey and Baxter had a good time too! We are excited about seeing alot of family at Thanksgiving! We hope Mom and Dad Price are able to make it too! We've been blessed with good health so far and wish everybody a speedy recovery! Know that we miss y'all and think of you often! Lots of Love - Brian & Kathy

We're you talkin' to me?

Hey, I blogged just a little bit before the challenge. But it was old news. New news? Clark and I went to Journey last night. It was awesome. Neal Schon is still amazing on the guitar. And Camille "Changed for the Better" is one of their new songs. It was an outdoor concert and when we got to the car we had to turn the air on because it was so hot and humid.... no snow here, but I hear this is supposed to be a much cooler, wetter winter. Zach is now teaching driver's ed. I'm sure he's a better teacher than a driver... JK, Zach... and he and Carrie are the proud parents of Toby the very cute dog. Clark almost to the point of counting days... well, I guess if you ask him he knows exactly how many days. I'm starting to miss him already. He has been such a great help and who will I have to play Rock Band with when he leaves? Jordan has his permit and is getting better each day. I look forward to when he can drive himself ... yep, takin' Clark's place there ... he he. Owen is tearin' it up on the soccer field and also on the dance floor. He's been learning some moves for his concert on Monday. It will be fun to see. Maybe Clark will let us borrow his camera to take pics since ours somehow died... hmmm wonder if there is any incriminating evidence on the camera like ther was on our video camera that broke. Dale's staying busy as a bishop and still loving soccer... a new bruise or battle wound each week, but he loves it! As for me, I'm just enjoying my family. We're looking forward to Thanksgiving. It will be fun to see Kathy again, although I'm not sure I'll recognize her. She looks great! We're hoping for a good outcome of the OU/Miami game this weekend. Hope you poor, poor cougar fans can recover too. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart... kinda
