Zach,
Mom and I are very proud of you, and the decision that you have made to serve a mission. Your Aunts, Uncles, grandmas, grandpas and cousins are also very proud...even those that don't read the "Fridge". Your are the first in a line of many missionaries that will come from the Price/Tanner/Hatch/Gold/Peterson grandchildren. Thanks for being such a "trailblazer". The blessings you will receive from your service will be immeasurable. It will prepare you for your future like nothing else. Years from now you will be able to look back to your missionary service as the one event that shaped your personality, your desire, your actions and your devotion to the savior. It won't matter where you serve, just that you DID serve. You will learn that the key to success on your mission and in your life is obedience. The more obedient you become, the more the Lord pours out his Spirit to you, and the more success you will find. You will be one of the "great missionaries" that members and priesthood leaders love to work with.
You will work harder than you have ever worked in your life. You will know discouragement like no other time in your life. Just know that as the scriptures teach, "these things will be for your good".
Thanks for always being such a great example in our familiy. Mom and I and your brothers look up to you and follow your lead.....You can do anything.

Zach,
We're not ignoring you. We're just really busy.
We're all very proud of you and we know you'll be a great missionary. Get ready to learn a new language though.
We love you

We're so excited to find out where you'll be serving! Like many have said before, you'll be a great missionary and it will be an experience you'll build the rest of your life upon.

Ditto to all of the above.

It's pretty exciting stuff, this missionary business. You are like the crest of a wave of missionaries from our family. I am sure it stinks, from time to time, being "the trailblazer," and "the example." But you know what, Heavenly Father knew this about you, knew that you would be the first of a long line. And so, he sent you to parents who could prepare you and gave you the experiences that would help you to be the example that you are. Even if it stinks, from time to time, to be "the example" child - it is part of your calling. Otherwise, Heavenly Father would not have sent you first.

Best wishes from Woodville as you sweat out the coming days of anticipation and speculation. We're there for ya, big guy!

Love from Auntie Camille
