We had our annual gingerbread building festivities for FHE Monday night. We started doing this when Dale was in chef school. We've simplified a lot and the houses aren't quite as fancy as the ones the future chefs built with stained glass windows etc., but we still have a lot of fun. We always invite someone over to share the fun with. This year it turned into a boys vs. girls house building contest. The boys got theirs together first, but as you can see, it collapsed and had to be rebuilt. They both ended up looking very similar with lots of candy.
